Weldex is the original manufacturer of the old camera and I picked the same manufacturer for the replacement color camera and flat screen monitor. I got it from www.rvcams.com and if I had to do it again I would skip the side cameras as good adjusted mirrors are as good or better but that is just my opinion.
I tried to upload pictures but it failed every time maybe some other times it let me do it.

Glad to know it's not just me having issues uploading pics.

Does the new camera mount to the plate that lets you move it up and down?

The new camera us physical identical to the old and mounts the same way. My up and down does not work I need to see why as I checked the actuator and it works.

I did the same thing on my 396XL...however I had them installed. Trigger is off of the turn signals (of course) but I have no idea where the hook in is. I was not really impressed at first but actually now that I have used them for quite a while I like having them. It just took a while to get used to the odd perspective of a wide angle camera on a flat surface.

Yes just wasn't sure where to splice it in. Maybe the turn signal indicator on the dash gone work.
You properly right if it works correctly and comes on I may get used to it. The screen is in an awkward position have to look around the stirring wheel.

Our 4 camera system "triggers" specific "full camera/view" based upon turn signal or reverse lights

I purchased one of those backup license plate cameras and I am hoping to figure a way to run the wire down the windshield and hook it to the monitor's second input. I am tired of wondering what is going on up on the Sky Deck as I drive.

The mechanic didn't put the screws to the AC shroud back on as he was ordering parts. I didn't think anything would happen, but somehow the shroud worked it's way off the AC and around the Sun Lounge and flew off into traffic and shattered into millions of pieces. I heard sounds, but had no idea what to do as I didn't know the sounds. I just kept driving.

New shroud arrived yesterday. Gonna be easier to install than the backup camera, but I figured I would just attach the camera to the wet bar where the cigarette lighter is. Watch to see how close the tree branches come to the top.

Good idea there are wireless cameras available you could use don't need to run a cable down.

I may just do that. I already have the camera, but without doing some surgery I would not be able to hook it up. I could run the wire out the window. I may just take your suggestion and get another wireless camera. Crazy how cheap things can be had from China these days.
