Remote water tank fill

I recently brought a 97 Airstream Cutter '34 back from Florida to Buffalo NY.

While I have the unit in a warehouse now I plan to do some travelling this winter.

The owners manual speaks about adding antifreeze to the water tank. As well I anticipate that RV parks will be closed or atleast not offering services.
Can anyone tell me how to add water to the tank through the reported remote tank filling point? I assume this is how one adds antifreeze as well.

Do you mean the gravity feed inlet on the outside wall of the MH or the pressure fill inside the side bin.

Regardless of which one, I understood it was not usual practice to freeze-proof the water tank itself - or the water heater - because it would take a lot of antifreeze. Instead, the water heater is drained via the drain plug and the water tank drain is opened. Driving around a bit makes sure there is no significant water left in the water tank.

If absolutely freezing conditions are expected, the only way to use the water system would be to have some form of heating of all sections of the system.

Hmmmmm. I now see the original post was dated 5 years ago, so I guess he knows all about it by now.
