Power jack problem with a 96 Clipper

Hello,
I was trying to level my MH with the power jacks.
The jacks first worked ok, then quit working, now the jack display
unit on the dash doesn't turn on, but the jack motor won't shut off
and runs continually. I disconnected the batteries to shut it off, and now
I'm "dead in the water" Any ideas?
thanks,
Merrill

power jack problems

Hello,
Belay that last question, turns out, it's the starter that s running all the time, and not turning the engine over. It was kind of hard to tell, since i'm working on it myself, but, I called a mechanic and he says it's a starter problem. I'll repost when I'm further along.
Thanks,
Merrill

The pump and reservoir on the CLIPPER are located in the right rear compartment.
If the red light on the Power Gear Hydraulic levellers stays on, then you are probably low on oil in the reservoir. There is a screw off dip stick on top to check and add oil.
The three solenoid are also located there, above the reservoir.

Don't add hydraulic fluid with the jacks extended. You will over fill the system!

Jacks on 97 Clipper not working.

Hello Dave,
My jacks were working until the starter went out.
I replaced the starter and now it works fine, but the jacks don't work.
At first, when I turned on the powergear at the dash, the pump would run
when I pushed the up or down button, but the jacks didn't go down. Now,
after fooling with it for awhile the powergear light comes on, but when
pushing the up/down button, the pump doesn't run. If you jump the pump motor solenoid, the motor will run.

After reading one of your other replies, I took out the power gear control module and looked it over, but found no fuses in it.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Merrill
