Paint Code, Airstream Motor Homes

This information has not been posted on this 'MODEL SPECIFIC SECTION' so I will put it here for easy reference in the future.

This covers all the Class A models produced by AIRSTREAM.

I wonder it is possible to get specific colors that match your coach mixed in small containers that could be used for covering up little dings and chips. Like the ones you can buy in some auto parts stores that match certain car colors.

You should be able to go to any auto specialty paint shop and have any quantity made up in spray cans and possibly in smaller containers also?

I can get spray cans of anything made up in town at Videl's and have been very happy with their matches.

Talk to any of the paint shops and they will direct you to the right place.

They have to make a certain amount in order to get some mixes right, so probably a half gallon minimum.

You might also be able to cross reference the # to a product available off the shelf?

Most of these places can copy a paint chip that you take in to them, or drive the unit there and they can get a colour match right off the body.

I have tried to find a source online for touch up paint using the paint codes provided by Airstream, but the codes provided are not recognized. I think the paint is from Sherwin Williams and on their auto paint web site they actually list Airstream RV in their formula express search section. But the color codes are not found from the search

Vehicle Search Page | FormulaExpress® | Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes

Color Code_ Color Description
MB-60121 _ Med Gold Met
U7-47134 _ Beige Met
MB-51523 _ Med Red Met

I have not had a chance to check locally or try and match by a paint sample.

Did anyone get a copy of this file before it was removed from the Airstream webpage?

Send me a note at mas------m at shaw dot ca, and I will attempt to forward the document.

I wish John Deere still made RV's and motorhomes, and we would be able to still get info on the older models.

Removing all the old info from the Airstream site was a crime!
