OE Tires
Does anyone know the brand of OE tires that would be on a 2005 396 XL?

Given the age of the Moho now, isn't it just a matter of size and then checking reports of brand quality?

That would be my approach. Tire brand is of little importance, it's size and quality.

I'm trying to determine if the tires are original, and this would be a clue.

Yes, I would suggest you get the DOT code off the tires and look at the date. The OE tires would be only a bit older than the vehicle.

On my XL390 Skydeck it was Michelin and it is also mentioned in the AS brochure. I just got 6 new once for mine joint the FMCA which gives you a good discount on Michelin tires I learned it to late. My tire had been 10 years old and a mixed match so it was time to get it done right.

Hey PSchw, I'm just getting into my AS and it looks like its time to change the tires. Where did you suggest getting Michelin's [at a good price] please?

If you join the FMCA they have a program with Michelin where you essentially trade in your old tires. It's the best discount you can get on new Michs. Since RVs rarely wear thru the tread they are giving you credit for the tire aging out, keeping you safe.
If you use other FMCA benefits than more's the better.

Randy is right the best is after joining the FMCA and then any good truck tire place. I got it ad Brahler Trucker Supply in St. Louis I paid for 6 new tires about $4,700 installed without an FMCA discount.
