I just bought one for my '90 25' Excella and it was $209 including shipping.

Excellent product, I installed mine a couple of seasons ago - no problems whatsoever. Why AS don't move to a quality item like this is beyond me.

I suppose it is the "bottom line," but when people are paying this much for an RV, I don't think a few more $ would sour the deal, and customers would be satisfied, not complaining of poor quality.

I, as well no doubt as many others, have contacted AS in this regard, but as far as I know they continue use the substandard product.

Brian.

Did you buy a new inside piece from Airstream or use the old one with the replacement Maxim?

Learning how to use this system is a bit challenging.... Asked if you bought a new inside piece from Airstream or used the old one with the Maxim install.

I reused the old plastic piece (it did not need removal for install)but you have to be careful working around it as it is brittle.Easy to install and one of the best upgrades that I have made.

Adam, Thank you so much for posting the pictures. I am glad the units worked out so well and they definitely look great! We know there are other options available and appreciate the support (and all the positive comments too)

Welcome to the Air Forms Max. It is good to have some product reps on this Forum.

Good luck on your search for an AIRSTREAM.

Dave
