Goodbye
We said goodbye to our Clipper today. Sold it to a nice couple out of Alabama. I told them to get on the forum and stay in touch with Dave and all he has done to his Clipper and what other AS motorhome owners have done. I hope they enjoy it as much as we did and we are sad to leave our AS family. All our best!!

Good luck to you, frankandsue! I don't know why you are leaving, but I wish you fair winds and following seas...

Does this mean that we won't see you at the TAC Walt Disney World Rally?????? You're not leaving TAC as well, are you?

We will be leaving TAC as well even before we got started. Family obligations here at home including an aging mother diagnosed with alzheimers are keeping from using the Clipper and we did not want to see it sit here and deteriorate. It needs to be out on the road and cared for. I loved staying at Fort Wilderness more than anything, the Clipper knew its way there for sure. There will be new adventures, there always are!

good on you
We had 2 parents that had Alzheimers. Thank you for caring for your aging ones. They will probably not be able to appreciate it, but you will not regret it. Larry and I had our 9 yr. stint of doing the caregiving. NOW we are ready to rock and roll again. We got an 29 ft. Excella and are finally back on the road. We will be thinking of you.

Frankandsue, good luck with your caregiving. Maybe you can get back into airstreaming down the line just like loudruff. One can only hope.

Frank and Sue,
My mother-inlaw and my best friend's mother had/have Alzheimers. I see what dedication it takes to care for them. Seek help, it is available. Keep looking forward to better times, that will come too!
Best wishes to you and your family!
Alan
