Front door seal

Hey Guys...I'm the proud owner of a 1999 35' Cutter...and I am thrilled..my first pusher and I love it.

I have severe wind noise from the entry door of the bus..and I'm looking for parts availability for a seal. And is there any special advice..like pulling the door to do it?? I own a body shop so fairly handy but only want to do it once..

I searched several topics but found nothing quickly..

Thanks for your help in advance...

Check out Inland RV! They have lots of gasket and may have your fix!

When you get yours fixed let me know and you can come and do mine.

Congratulations! You'll love traveling in your Cutter. Be sure and download a parts book for your model from airstream.com if you haven't done so already.

I happen to live 60 miles from Jackson Center, bought plenty of door seal material straight from the factory back in March at a pretty reasonable price. I have 20 feet of the stuff laying behind passenger seat, and I still have wind noise.

I suspect the only way to reduce the wind noise is to drive more slowly

This comment from me may actually be useful. I checked out air noise carefully and came up with simple fix. Figuring out what issue was took longer than fix. Door opening ends up with half inch gap at bottom (on my unit) and had quite a cool breeze last thanksgiving trip. (Cool breeze causes an irritating noise from passenger seat)

Used closed cell foam material and automotive spray trim adhesive to fix. I will try to attach photos. Foam strip is about $5, trim adhesive is $20. Body shops use this quite a bit and may fix you right up cheap.
