Emergency Exit

I finally got the SkyDeck back and cleaned it.
Checking out the Emergency Exit I pulled the handle down and it looks like the cable which is attach to it ripped off.
Now I have a none functional Emergency Exit what is not good but also have no idea how I can open it up to reattach the cable yo the handle.
Anybody has an idea?
Thanks

Peter

Take the window out of the frame? Just peal the black rubber cover off the screws around the outside and have someone outside catch the window when you push it out. I don't actually know how to do the wire, I am just assuming it's the only way.

Congrats on getting your home back. How long did it take? What all did they do to it. Probably should post the answers in the thread about your roof repair.

I am not sure if you and I have the same issue, my red handle window will not latch. Just a little push and the thing swings out on the top hinge. Has not popped while driving, nor let water in, but if someone wants into the RV just climb up on your car and pop in the window.

I would love it if I could figure out a way to prop it open all the time, let the air in and keep the rain out. Not enough ventilation in the RV when stored... Need to figure out a way to get some circulation going.

Needs a hell of a slam to get it latched once you open it. Close your eyes, grit your teeth and SLAM it.

BUT if you don't open it once in a while you will find the rubber seals will be stuck so tight you will not be able to open it at all which isn't good in the middle of the night, gasping from smoke and really desperate to get out.
