driver air conditioner

Has anyone tried recharging their system with one of those car care do-it-yourself kits? Comments?

If you have a leak that will be a good way to tide yourself over. If you it continues to leak get the kind that has a stain and it will show you where the leak is under UV light.

If you have air in the system that can cause it to not be entirely efficient. The fix for that is to have someone drain your system and then refill it. This causes moisture to evaporate and be purged with any air. Then they ONLY put back coolant. This will make sure your system if perfect, assuming there is no leak.
