Clipper, Land Yacht, Deer Whistle, Kangaroo Horn

Has anyone got a fool proof animal whistle that they would recommend?

I have the small ones mounted on my mirrors and also have an electronic unit mounted on the forward Penquin unit.

Do they work????? I have not hit an animal yet, but I have come close.

I just cleaned and tested all my units yesterday, but am looking to see if there are any new technologies available.

We have lots and lots of deer in our area. I have used them and not hit a deer. I have mostly not used them and also not hit a deer. I personally think they are ineffective and it is a matter of luck.

There is no real way to test them for effectiveness other than some long term test with a fleet of cars and a lot of statistical analysis.

Well ---- the general feeling is that the chance of hitting a wild animal on the highway is more luck than good management, but I don't want it to happen to me and feel guilty that I did not take all precautions.

Just to cover my $%^ I have also equipped my toad with the deer WHISTLES.
