Broke my door awning
2005 Skydeck. It's raining so I was gonna try and see what happens when the door is more protected. The awning has been deployed 4 times in 6 months. The last time it was raining and I closed it only to have it dump ALL the collected water on me. Great design.
Today I was tugging. Mine is not smooth. In fact, it will not come all the way out to where the pins can hold it in place. I usually have to really tug several times in a row, like getting past a rust spot or something. Today, however, it finally came ALL the way open, and now will not close.
For the time being, I have it rolled up and the arms tied to the RV. If I drive it the awning will likely unroll and inflate. Guess I need to learn how to dismantle it. Anyone done this?
