Wow, I can NOT find that A39, there is a 39 foot Airstream at Mr. Motorhome but I cannot get pics nor find confirmation WHICH Airstream it is. I may just call them as they are not responding to internet queries.
If you have a link for the A39 on the west coast please send it.

I found a link: 2006 Airstream
Not sure if this is the A Series you saw, Peter.
Recently reduced to $82,500, but I cannot find when it was originally posted. Was looking thru my saved bookmarks and this came up. If it had been there when I was buying my RV you would think I would remember...
The Mr. Motorhome one finally had pics posted and it is FAR from an A39. Doesn't even look like a normal 2005 390. Perhaps it's an earlier one or not an XC or XL i guess.

No the one I saw was in CA and had some sun damage if I get to my computer files I see if I can find the link. The guy wanted $130k I offered $100k but never heard from him.
I just like the furniture in it and being all electric.

It is very pretty, the interior of the A-Series. The pear wood is strange, almost like a plastic or a stone. I like the way the cabinet in the kitchen sticks out with the clock on it. If I was a wood worker I might be tempted to copy that, I don't like the oak in mine and would be happier with the hickory you got. Not that I am actually going to use that as an excuse to do a lot of wood work in the RV. If I do anything it will be to make room for a king size bed.
But the thing about the A-Series to me is that it WASTES space. The full door instead of drawers. Perhaps they were going for clean, and it is clean looking, but it seems (and I have never seen the cabinets opened) that you have a lot of wasted space inside.
I have seen a bunch of ads for RVs that have been hanging around the inter webs for a long time, the owners have long since sold the units and moved on, but the ads are like zombies. Still pretending to be alive. But if it's an actual sale I am sure the good people here would be happy to know about it. Pretty soon it will be like my collection of Sky Decks, I'll have pics of every A39 ever made. Still wanna see one in person, or at least a video where they open everything.

As I happen to have one I can tell you that it is without a doubt a year 2000 XC Landyacht diesel 360. I specifically know it is a 2000 because in 2001 they upgraded the front facia and finally move me the TV above the driver seat where it belongs and out of the dashboard (better viewing angle in the dash so good when parked but damn awkward on the fosd lol...and don't get me started on how much of a pain they add to upgrade) Also in 1999 they were still called Clippers (which are nearly identical anyways) except for the name and paint job. I believe Massey also has a Clipper and when you compare pictures of our rigs they're nearly identical. They did introduce the XL 390 in 2000 but the motor home on the link definitely isn't one.

So until I read the post about the a series on this thread, I was only aware of the XL 390 model airstream had made. I am actively looking to upgrade to a bigger rig and because of the friends I've made and community have been hoping there was some way to stay in the AS family but only a Skydeck would do if for me (or...even though it wouldn't be an upgrade per-se my "dream" rig is a '95 classic diesel...aka my unicorn. I'd throw practicality out the damn window for one of those) I've now let my dealer know to actively look out for a 2006 A series. I agree there are some interior design flaws...but as an interior designer who focuses on yachts I say bring it on!

Lol I've actually been in contact about that. The thing is it's definitely rare but not my unicorn. I really want a 95. I do love what he did to the inside. It's extremely reminiscent of my Hatteras actually...but the designer in me refuses to pay a premium for someone else's work. It's very analogous to the homes I flip. Basically I'm looking for the worst house on the best street. I would never pay extra for work I could have done at half the cost....still. I'm super bloody tempted.

Wow!
2005 Airstream Land Yacht , Torrance CA - - RVtrader.com
Someone knows how to do HDR to make their images look crazy. Not sure what I am looking at, but they are charging like it's PERFECT, hard to tell from the photos, perhaps.
