Are you sure its air? Are the gauges showing low air?
If the park legs are not up. or low in oil, it gives an audible warning?
What level system have you got on there?
Could it also be low coolant warning?

THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THIS ALRIGHT. Check wiring security on the air valves. Poor ground? Transmission connector?
Have you got a schematic for that unit?
I can't help you today to search for the diagram as we have company here.
Yours is a 99 so the manual is available to download on the Airstream site.

Your info might be here. However, your problem is probably chassis related and you might have to go to Freighliner for the solution.

Air brake warning buzzer

I have a 99 Cutter diesel, my problem was when I released the air brake in drive the buzzer would not go off, the problem was there is a air pressure switch located in front of the rear wheels attached up in the frame rail to the air brake system, this pressure switch is threaded and wires attach which control the buzzer that is located under the dash, cost of the switch from Freightliner dealer was around $ 70, I installed it myself.

Thanks for the update and location of the switch information.
Pictures, part #s, are always good for you own information and a great benifit to others.
Not many attempt their own repairs on the Diesel pushers as they think it is to complicated.
In most cases, just as you have done, it is a task of eliminating, until the problem is traced.

Great!

I was under my Clipper before leaving on this current voyage, and checked the wire security, etc on mine. I have had no problem on this issue yet?
Did you get the heavy rain @ your location with Irene????? Any damage?
Nothing but some short bursts of wind at the farm here in Ottawa.
