I too think they are beautiful coaches and just about the only Motorhome that I am interested in owning. However, I also love my 30' Airstream Safari Bunk. If only the A-Liner had been available with bunk bed options I would have seriously considered trading the "Changes
" in on one for the family while they were still being made.
Congratulations on your beautiful coach and getting her all ship shape!
One thing you may not be aware of, if I understand correctly, Airstream didn't actually build the A-Series motorhomes. They were contracted out to a custom coach builder in Oak Grove, OH (IIRC). They were the original designer of he prototype and expanded their production capacity to include mass (
) production of the A-Series. So, I guess you can't blame all
QA problems on the mother ship.
