390 396 Plumbing
So, has anyone found a good way to access the plumbing lines over the holding tanks on a 390 or 396? I have a cross over line from the sink that is leaking and from what I can see, it is going to be quite hard to get in to access it.

Well, I am not sure exactly. I think I have a leak after the flex pipe from the kitchen area; it may be far down as I can not see where the water will come from. I am assuming it is somewhere below the kitchen floor between the fridge and slide area maybe around the mid body area.
There doesnt seem to be a leak from the shower or the rear bath area. I am going to try and crawl under and see if the rear bay cladding can be removed on the rear wall of the storage area and see if that allows any access.
Post pics! Some of us have never and may never need to go in there. I only just put on the winterizing kit that lets me suck up antifreeze into the plumbing system. Could do all that thru the five inch access hatch. The rest is just inky blackness.

I will, hopefully it will not be as bad as I think under there. I have only seen in via the access panel for the 12v pump.
So, on that note, is it better to load antifreeze in the lines or blow them out? I have been blowing them out and draining the water heater. So far so good. I just rigged up an adapter so I can hook it to my air compressor. Run it at about 35PSI and open the faucets.
If you can blow them out, much better. The reason I use anti-freeze is because it's more idiot-proof. I can SEE when there is now anti-freeze in the lines and I can get ALL the lines to the washer/dryer protected. I was told NOT to let anti-freeze into the ice makers or the water filters. My RV also has a sink on the second floor that needs to be protected.
Next time I Winterize I plan on going to the blow out method. I finally figured out that my drain line valve had seized and I was able to replace it by unscrewing the insides of the valve w/o cutting the water lines. I will buy an air hose that will reach from the quick connect under the driver seat to the water inlet so I can try blowing the lines out. Hopefully I don't break anything.
