Cancled the camping trip. I'm at home, watching the snow fall.

SNOW...REALLY... It could be worse, it was 94 here yesterday with hi humidity. You could break a sweat while swimming. Ha Ha I had to cut my 2 acres of grass, go to work and cut grass there and then the business next door. I then worked the Civil Air Patrol booth at the Ware Shoals Catfish Feastival from 2:30-5:30, then came home and spread a truckload of mulch. Today I'll be cooking, my wife invited the whole church over for a cookout. The disadvantage of owning the big grill.

We are home, tending to some things here and getting ready for two very busy weeks which will end in Moraine View's 10th anniversary rally!

We head to MN June 11 to visit friends for a few days and then make a beeline 'cross the prairies to meet others near Glacier for a few weeks. Can't wait!

Have a great holiday, y'all, and a special thanks to all you vets out there.

Travel safe,

Maggie

Camping at Cunningham Falls State Park in Maryland. As a point of reference, it's in the same park system (Cunningham Falls SP and Catoctin Mountain Park) that Camp David is in. Humid but nice up on the mountain...and being thankful to those who "gave it all" so I live free.....

We went to a flea market

We thought it would be fun to pack the moho & sell at a flea market. We love to go antique(ing)... have often bought at this market, but never sold...
We picked the hottest Memorial Day on record (93) & probably the dustiest, as well! (My sister who lives in TX would say we are just wimps in MI.)
By noon, the awning was open & we had the shadiest spot around..Heard lots of nice comments about the Airstream. Probably could have sold it several times.
All in all, it was fun. But, I don't think we'll do it again.

Camping at Ludington SP. Michigan

Had a wonderful weekend at Ludington State Park on Lake Michigan. The weather was beautiful except for the thunderstorm Sunday morning.

Next trip is to Otsego Lake SP in Michigan on June 16th.

Dowpells, your MH looks great as usual!

Ludington's great! Was there last summer, had a blast with the grandkid tubing down the river and biking, weather was perfect when we were there in July, that's a nice State Park. Haven't been to Otsego Lake yet, let us know how that trip goes for you.

We went to Caballo lake and enjoyed our Airstream and did some jet skiing. Here's a picture of the rigs on our way to the lake. 3 adults, 4 kids and 3 dogs. A little cramped but lots of fun.

Spent Friday 5/25 in the hospital with a kidney stone. So much for any plans - just as well, as it was so unusually hot, and where we were thinking of going it was primitive camping only. The last week has not been much fun, but i've been able to get a few things done in anticipation of a trip to MI for next weekend. If I don't pass this stone, still may be stuck at home. Can't drive on painkillers. Crap.
