So when the security stuff kicks in, and you check the box "I am not a robot", are you personally returned to where you were?
Or are you spit out and left with a blank screen, that no matter how many times you hit refresh LEAVES YOU WITH A BLANK SCREEN. Meaning that the previous half hour of your time uploading pics and composing was totally wasted. This happened twice the other day, and again this am. This is why I used all caps. I have seen posts by others as well on this issue, with no response from the Mods.
This is my experience; the security implementation, right now, makes it almost impossible to post anything with details to the site.
That makes about as much sense as solving bank robberies by...
closing the banks.
If you ain't got no banks, you ain't gonna have any bank robberies....
I believe that by deleting cookies, you make it impossible for the site to recognize you; isn't that rather counterintuitive to this issue?
I am on at least a dozen various topic sites, from maybe 1000 members to over 300,000 each. All sites have similar security issues, but I have not seen this implementation of security anywhere else.
Yes, I thank the mods and admins as well; but it appears we are throwing out the baby with the bathwater if you cannot take more than 16
minutes (or whatever it is) to generate and post questions or answers.
OK, I'm done. Seriously, thanks for your response. Hopefully something positive will come of this. Either that, or all our posts may soon be limited to twitter-like 140 characters...
