1992 36ft airstream motorhome
exterior needs a little tlc,,,

Kevin; Not sure about that model year but if you go to Airstreams website and send them an e-mail they can tell you.
Ours is gel-coated fiberglass with Sherman Williams automotive paint and then clearcoat..I found the paint codes sticker inside the closet. I use 303 aerospace protectant and then buff. So far I am very happy with the results.

My 1993 LY MH was badly oxidized gelcoat, waxing will not remove this. You need to use a product to remove the oxidation before waxing. I used a product called Turbo Cut by Wizard automotive product. There is acutally a 3 step system, I just used this to remove the oxidation. It's a lot of hand work, but the results were very good. The front and rear caps are acrylic & not gel coat - it even did an excellent jobs on these.
