Steering Wheel Upgrade?

Just got to thinking... Land Yachts have a nice cockpit, nice seats, nice dash and a "plastic" steering wheel. Has anyone upgraded to a nicer wheel, researched it or just thought about it? Wood or leather or ???

I put a Wheelskins leather cover on my wheel and its a a perfect fit & looks great. They sell through many auto accessory suppliers like AutoSport and they also sell direct for the same price. I bought a 2 color with perforated leather (euorperf) but don't have a photo at the moment. PM me if you want a photo and some tips for install. Check out www.wheelskins.com because they will make a cover for any size. I live pretty close to their facotry and started doing business with them in 1985 for every car I have bought that did not have a factory leather wheel.

The 34-ft LY I previously had came with a leather-covered steering wheel. It had the Spartan logo on it (as the chassis was made by Spartan).
