steering adjustment

The searing gear box my '94 30' LY has left hand threads on the lash adjustment screw. So which way do I turn it to decrease the lash? It seems to want to wander when driving down the Interstate. All 4 shocks and the searing damper have been replaced and the tires are less then 6 months old.

Thanks for the help,
