sky lights

anyone have a method of restoring the skylights mounted on the roof. mine are kind of bad. tried using buffing compound, then polishing compound, and then a good wax. they are better, yet they still have a haze.

Well....its plastic.....take a look at cars with plastic lens for headlamps and you will see same type damage. There is a kit you can buy for the headlamps from auto parts store to buff out but if they are not leaking, I would leave it alone. Otherwise, start shopping for new domes. None of mine are clear, they are frosted but do provide lots of natural light.

Keep in mind its over 20 yrs old and new materials are better quality than those in 1994.
