Shower Door Seal Repair
The lip seal (it is semi-clear and appears to be made of a "silicone" type material). The seal is "Y" shaped with the vertical leg of the "Y" attached to the shower door frame and the "V" legs of the "Y" pointing down. One leg of the lip seal tore. To make the repair, I removed the door and placed it on the bed to give better access to the seal. I placed adhesive tape on one side of the torn seal, turned the door over and sealded the crack with adhesive. I turned the door over, removed the tape, and sealed that side of the tear with adhesive. I used E6000 adhesive to repair the tear. The adhesive seemed to adhear well to the lip seal and the repair seems to be successful.
