need to find motor for 2005 landyacht drivers window
Not to annoy you but what is wrong with the current motor? Found that the motor in my unit needed a better ground to the chassis. Is working fine now but who knows about tomorrow. If you find out the replacement motor part number, I would be interested.
Thanks and good luck.
If anybody has the common motor that these use, carefully examine it for any part numbers. It might be a carryover from an existing unit. Number might be cross referenced.
Getting at the window motor is a real pita. you need to remove a steel plate that covers the inside of door and the motor access area itself. there are steel rivits every 6 inches that must be drilled out. on mine I didn't find any part number.
when I was able to access the motor, I tried the window switch and low and behold the window went up and down. switch seems to be OK.
Still might learn from a picture who's motor they used. There is a GM window lift motor that fit a bazillion cars and trucks. Frequently called a pancake motor by some that have worked with it.
