Getting closer to having the LY ready for the road. Between this weekend and today I've:

Replaced front brake pads
Resurfaced rotors
Replaced all belts
Replaced all plugs
Replaced plug wires
Repaired dash blower
Resealed the last window (bedroom curb side)
Replaced ALL speakers for dash radio (6 total)
Repaired broken vacuum lines to dash AC/Heat control
Repaired broken fluid washer lines to wipers
Replaced wiper blades
Repaired broken leveler jack harness connector

Dam!!! I'm tired.

Still on the list is:

Repair backup camera
Replace rear brake shoes
Check tag brakes
Grease tag axle
Wash outside and recondition outside gel coat (Red Max Pro)
Replace all awning pull straps (already ordered)
Wash outside awnings

This has been one hell of a project. Can't wait for the next Airstream to work on. I'll use this one for about a year and then I'll be looking for a later model classic. I've always loved the idea of an all alluminum MH and love the lines of the classic but want to stay with a FI 454 or a diesel. I did almost buy a Revcon before I found this 92 LY but sure glad I waited. $2000 purchase price and about another $2000 invested in repairs. Still think I'm ahead on this one.

OK, just got a call from RVCams.com. Looks like the monitor is still good, but the camera will not put out a picture. They have a replacement camera for the original Sony. The camera is a Voyager VBCS150 and they have an adaptor cable to connect to the existing Sony din harness. Looks like one more item off the list.

Received the new backup camera and my monitor back from RVCAMS.COM. Connected it up and ... Bingo. The new camera worked perfectly. The only issues I run into were adjusting the original mounting bracket to accommodate the smaller sized camera and reflections off the OEM plastic lens from the new camera's infrared LEDs. I ended up blocking the LEDs with black electrical tape. It reduced night vision resolution, but I wanted an OEM look so I couldn't mount the camera outside the stock location.

92, Just read the post about using pillow fabric for the captain chair repair. If you can use these, you can have them.
2 pillow covers (21"x28") heavy upholstery fabric on one side, solid, not as heavy on the back side.
I also have a queen comforter/cover in the same solid material. Don't think I'll ever use it, so it's available, too. (Just to clarify, these are from our LY.)
I'll put a picture up. Let me know if interested.

Thanks for the offer Dowpells, but unfortunately that's not the same fabric used on my LY. I guess the best solution would be to pull the seats and have an upholsterer redo the fabric inserts with something complementary. I wish I could find the same fabric but I'm betting that, that is not going to happen.
