Power Step

My power step is stuck...extended. It works most times. I hear it clicking when the switch is on and I open and close the door, but nothing happens...the step stays extended. I do have my chassis battery disconnected and this may be the problem, it's done this before when the chassis battery was connected. Any suggestions? 1995 Airstream Land Yacht.

Ours had this issue and it turned out to be a worn out gear. Our RV mechanic fixed it as the Quickee step has replaceable parts so about an hour labor and it's back working fine.

Thanks. I hope that it's a battery issue. I will keep you posted.
