Plumbing Diagram for Land Yacht

New new thread for Land Yacht owners.
When we hook our hose up to the coach for "city water" we get a
leak someplace between the filler door and the center of the coach.
Before I start taking furniture out, like the dinette, I have a couple questions. It's a 1994 Airstream 34 Land Yacht diesel pusher.
1..Does anyone have a plumbing diagram for the Land Yacht?
It would help if I new were the fresh water pipe went from
the filler neck. Or a diagram?
2. I hear the water pump that we always use to avoid the leak
described above. How do I get at it? I think it's somewhere under the
bathroom, but I'm not sure. Anybody know?
3. Has anybody else fixed fresh water leaks? and where did you find them?

Rtm...

Paul-

I can reply to this to keep thread alive until real experts arrive...

"RTM" is polite code for "Read the Manual" which came with the MH. If it didn't come with a detailed binder of Airstream and component vendors, call Airstream and get one...

1. The basic plumbing layout will be specified in the manual, including cold weather drain points for winterizing...
2. Water pumps are often under false floors in closets, or under bath. They are accessible, but with some effort...
3. Lots of us have fixed water leaks... Use the "Search" tab in blue bar above to search for threads on water and city and fresh and leak to avoid getting all the threads on leaks around windows and seams and doors (another chapter..)

Good luck with your adventure..

Plumbing diagram

Paul,
Hope this helps. First off, the pump is in the kitchen under the lowest drawer on the left side of the cabinet. It is the large flat drawer near the floor. On my coach this is on the drivers side. If it is on the opposite side on yours, then I cant help if under the dynette. The pump should be off and not running when hooked to city water. If this is the case you may have blown the seals in the pump due to over-pressure. Pump parts are readily available and it is easy to work on. If you need diagrams shoot me an e-mail and I will FAX them to you. As far as the remainder of the coach and plumbing diagrams, my manual has very little info, mainly dealing with hot water heater and various valves. Look underneath and see if you can trace the lines to where they enter the coach and try to go from there. I have found that the lower drawers usually hide these lines. I am going to re-plumb mine in the future and use the new flex lines they are starting to use in new homes. They handle more pressure and are pretty simple to run. I don't care for the plastic lines currently installed. Let me know if I can be of further help.

Fresh water leaks

Thanks for the suggestions.
1. My manual does not show diagrams or locations of any plumbing stuff.
Airstream said they no longer had these manuals.
2. I will look under the cabinets in the right side kitchen and the left side
bath. Our filler is on the left side and the leak appears under the dinette
so, I'll also look beneath that drawer.
If anybody would sell photocopies of that section of a 1994 Land Yacht 34
Manual, I'm a buyer! It's a Diesel Pusher with left side shower and sink and a right side kitchen.
I'll got to the storage garage nest week and try again.
Thanks,
Paul

Plumbing diagram

Paul,
Sounds like you have the same coach as mine with the kitchen on the opposite side. I will look over my manual tomorrow and see if there are any diagrams to help you. My pump is under the stove, lowest drawer. It sounds like you may have a broken line from the city water fill point. Since all my plumbing is under the kitchen side, I don't know how or where you should look at the dinette. (maybe like you said the side drawers) You may have to tackle it from underneath.
Best of luck to you.

Plumbing diagram

I found the diagram in my manual and will scan and send on Monday. This should help you out in tracing the lines, but keep in mind, my coach is mirror image of yours. Have a great weekend.
