O'Reilly Control Arms?
Decided to bite the bullet and go thru the front end. The closest place has everything in stock is O'Reillys. They sell a house brand of control arms (with ball joints and shaft) called Precision,; prices are about 2/3 of what I have always used in the distant past... Moog.
The biggest visual difference appears to be that the Precision are pressed in ball joints - just like OEM. While the Moogs are bolt in. If you were just going to replace a failed ball joint, bolt-ins are much easier... been there, done that.
That said, the Precision does have a lifetime warranty...of the part. No labor reimbursement; which is where most of the $$ would be if this had to be done again in a few years.
Anybody done this lately, with hardware comments?
