Onan Marquis 5000 Fuel Line

I tried starting the generator in my 1997 Land Yacht 33 and saw gas coming from a split in the fuel line that connects to carburetor. There appears to be a small fuel filter that the line connects to and the split is just below the clamp at this point.

The line runs down an underneath the generator. I think it goes to the fuel pump. My question is, does the generator have to be pulled to replace this line? If not, then I can do it. If it does, then I will have to get an RV service guy to do it.

The line does not look particularly old, so I am wondering why it split. Any thoughts on this?

Get your model and serial number. Contact the manufacturer. Get a service manual. They can usually be downloaded. Perhaps the service department of the manufacture. Could advise if it is practical to do.

I can't imagine that you would need to pull your generator to replace the fuel line. You might have figure out how to attach some new line to the old as you pull it through but it can be done.
