"My outside faucet only works with city water"

I think the poster was suggesting using your water pump in the MH to pump water from the fresh water tank out the faucet.

As an aside, this faucet connects to a flush next to the faucet that leads inside the black holding tank. It should be used after draining the black tank to help rinse it. Also, close the gray tank drain valve before opening the black tank valve. I don't want black water in my gray tank!

When winterizing, I open the drain valves at the foot of the bed at a stop a few hours from home and let the tank and lines drain as driving. The action of the roads help drain all the water.

Sam, I was suggesting using the water pump to drain the fresh water tank. But I don't think this faucet is connected to the auto flush for rinsing the black tank. Your suggestion of opening the fresh water valve a few hours while driving is a good idea.

You are correct, the faucet in the outside compartment (at least in my rig) is not physically connected to the black tank flush. The faucet has to be connected to the tank flush with a hose. I keep a short hose (about 12 inches long) in the compartment where the faucet is located.

If you need to flush your tank just open the valve it doesn't take that long, maybe a cup of coffee drank.

If you're talking about the side windows in the coach section then you use butyl rubber tape. It's cheap (around $5-$10 a roll) and works great. I used 3/4" width and trimmed off the excess.

Here's what it looks like:

Because I had planned on tearing all of the fiberglass and luane off and replacing with a epdm . I found a place that did it to another 94 ly he has a Facebook page ..Lackeys rv service .He has picks of the ly
