Need to find fresh water check valve
I was getting the RV ready for a trip. Flushed all the pink anti freeze out of the system using the city water fresh water connection. After disconnecting it I found I had a small amount of water that was dripping out the hose on the fresh water hose reel when the fresh water pump is turned on. Assuming I have a check valve to keep the water from exiting the city water hookup hose. Temporarily I have plugged the hose end with a hose plug but I still would like to fix this permanently. Anyone have an idea where the check valve is? Assuming it's upstream of the hose real but I haven't been able to find it. I have gray polybutylene pipe running from the hose real in one of the compartments that exits the compartment up through the floor.
Worst case is I can insert a check valve upstream of the hose real but I would like to just replace the valve if possible. One other Option I've considered is to put in a cutoff valve and remove the check valve as that would allow flushing the city water hookup for an easier winterizing. All I would have to do is run the pink stuff through all the internal plumbing from the freshwater holding tank and then open the cutoff valve to push pink stuff out through the hose.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It’s built into the water pump

There is a check valve in the pump.
But actually the one you need is built into the pressure regulator that regulates city water pressure. Keeps water from going back out the hose when running the pump.

Any idea where the regulator would be? I've checked under the bed where the fresh water pump and holding tank is but couldn't find it there. I'll have to check when I get home but there are some components under the bathroom sink area that may have it. I know that the water reserve bladder tank is under there.

The one that located inside the water pump is not the one I'm looking for. It prevents water from backing up into the tank when the pump is turned off. I need the one that prevents water from coming out the city water hookup hose.

In our 345 it was back in the street side rear corner aft of the pump. (Under bed)
In our Land Yacht Diesel, I haven’t found it yet either. It generally should be close to the hose inlet.

On the newer trailers the pressure regulator / check valve are built into the city water inlet fixture.

I went looking for my check valve/pressure regulator. This Land Yacht Diesel is a whole new animal to me.
I found the unit is located basically under the stove area. Looks like the same type of part as our 345 had.
Hope this helps.
Sorry the pictures are turned on their side.

Hey Rob, I was about to respond to this post when I saw your last message with photos of the pressure regulator. However here is an update.
1. Access to the regulator to see it is by removing the bottom drawers under the stove area.
2.Access to replace or remove it, is from the outside by removing the city water tank fill assembly. Its one piece and can be pulled out of the exterior wall giving you access to reach in and get to the pipe connections.
Two summers ago mine started leaking and water got under the wood floor and carpet under the sofa. RV tech said it was overkill to have a residential pressure regulator which I already had a regulator on the hose at the spigot. It was removed and piped direct. No problems since. However sometimes I do have issues with the city water connected, filling my fresh water tank. This appears to be an issue at the pump which felt I could live with till the pump is replaced. At 22 yrs old its still going strong.
