Need a Toad

I know this is not the For Sale place. We just used the classifieds for listing our 2004 30 ft. Land Yacht with slide and the fellow that bought it picked it up yesterday. The ad was up about three weeks! That leaves us with our toad for sale.

2010 Corolla S (sport) five speed manual transmission with 30,000 miles. It includes the heavy duty Blue Ox tow bar set-up and an Air Force (Google it for information) braking system (nothing to install or remove-just flip a switch and it is good to go). Car is a dark gray with all the options, and it is in excellent condition.

For additional information, e-mail me airstream12557 (at) aol.com.

Toad For Sale

Suggestion: Post a picture and a price. Should be easy to sell, everybody needs a toad.

I might as that the Corolla is also an excellant daily driver. The S option gives it a larger engine that is very peppy. It also has power windows, aluminum wheels, CD player, cruise, carpeted floor mats, running lights, and a spoiler (all factory options). The body is perfect and the paint has the few minor scratches and paint chips as would be expected from a couple of visits at Walmart.

Sorry to see you go. Are you getting out of the RV'g business? Or did you buy something else?

Thanks for asking, Bob & Nancy! We are going back to an Airstream travel trailer. Got to keep the "Big Red Numbers".

We will always have fond memories of our 30 ft. Land Yacht w/slide. It performed well, got good mileage, was comfortable, and got lots of complements. Airstream had a great product there.

Sam,
Sounds like a great Toad. I predict you'll miss it when you are driving around in your truck while the Airstream trailer is on a camp site.
You might want to add the cost of making it towable to the write up and point out that buying yours costs less than adding all that Blue Ox gear to another car. Is the buyer essentially getting the $2500 (or whatever the cost) towing package is included for free if they buy your nice car.

Good point, Paul. The local RV dealer/service center charged me $3405.32 to set up the Corolla for flat towing. Yes, that full system will be included with the Corolla.

Toad for sale

If you haven't sold your Toyota or haven't listed in RV Trader you may want to soon. There are quite a few Airstream Land Yachts for sale and your Toyota would be a good fit for those looking.

Good luck
