Front Marker Lights

I have three front marker lights out. They are very difficult to get at but I was able to replace the bulb in one but the other two do not lite up even with new and tested bulbs installed. I was going to replace the entire fixture but noticed quickly that they are not the standard wired type. I thinking I may have some rust or corrosion in the socket. Has anyone had an experience with the front markers that would share advice on how to replace these? Thanks.

My experiences with such light problems is a bad ground. Clean all contacts with alcohol.

While you don't say what your AS is, I'm assuming that it is a motohome (e.g., Land Yacht). I had some of the front markers go out on my '94 LY, and in one case the lens fell off (it seems the previous owners had just glued it in place). The whole marker light assembly can be purchased through any Airstream dealer (I think about 2 years ago they were about $10 per assembly, which included the socket, bulb and lens).
