These are a P30 chassis. We take ours to our local truck garage, no problem getting parts. The VIN # will tell the garage all they need to know - chassis, parts, etc.

We had a whole brake job done, no problem.

On ours the auto park brake had been disconnected. Our garage adjusted the manual brake so that it will hold the coach.

More specifically it's a Chevy P30 motorhome chassis. There are differences between the motorhome chassis and the others (commercial I-beam and forward control). As for brakes, you need to know if you have rear drums or discs. Don't assume drums as rear discs are pretty common. This is especially true in later years. More then likely you'll be looking for parts for a 1997 Chevrolet P30 on a motorhome chassis with dually rear wheels, disc brakes front and disc or drum back.

Thanks. Thay imfo was enough to start looking up info and parts. Although i wont be sure which parts to replace until i pull it apart.
however i think my problem is with this auto brake crap design.

This is for a 1990 airstream land yacht 36 with a tag axle. Most posts and problem i read about are newer models so im not sure i even have the auto brake system because ive never seen a light on the dash.

Can anyone tell me why the tag and rear axle are 8 lug as well as the spare tire but the front is only five? If i had a flat on the front i would be screwed

Anyway thanks

TAG and Rear axle are not 8 lugs but should be 10 lugs. The fronts are 5 bolt but any 10 bolt rim will bolt right up. The spare should be a universal 10 bolt pattern.

You don't have the auto park feture and be glad you don't.

Your 90 LY is pretty much the same as my 92. If you have any questions just ask.
