Took dash apart this winter. Both sides. Lots of screws (and some gentle tugging on driver's side )to remove.
One of the reasons that I took dash apart was to see if I could relocate the radio to the passenger side of the dash so dear wife could handle. I find it too hard to adjust when driving down the road. It was a no go; there is a metal reinforcing bar just under the glove compartment that make it impossible.
Putting under the dash on the passenger side is way too low. vents are to the left and right of compartment.
Did find air hoses for the heating/a/c vents kinked. rerouted a couple and reformed the kinks.
When I had the dash apart, looked for that 110v outlet that some have reported behind those vents near the floor in front of the passenger seat and couldn't find it.
Turns out I have 3 speed fan as well. switch works at position 1 (Low) but not at position 4. should be reversed but I left well enough alone. position 3 is high. weird.
Not too much holding in/up rear view camera. heavy little beast but just screws from dash plate hold it in/up.
Took out cigarette lighter and replaced with proper
12v oulet. also installed 2nd
12v outlet in dash over by passenger wall. That gives me three
12v outlets up front.
Putting dash back together was ok just had to gently pry driver's side to refit and then screw back in.
