Emergency Flasher

2003 Land Yacht Emergency Flashers will not work when turned on. Any suggestions?

Could be the flasher is out. They are not expensive. I would pull and replace.

First check the wiring at the switch. Then check to see if somebody took the relay out of the fuse board. If you have a manual, check it to see the location in the fuse panel of the relay. Chris

Do turn signals work? I think mine uses the same flasher mounted on the steering column, not on the fuse panel.

I found a fuse that looked good but tested open. after finding fuse and checking it with a meter, then check for power at switch and flasher.

The OEM ones are in a small aluminum can and are the thermal type and can not handle the load when towing. Replaced with a 50A solid state from NAPA. A bit awkward to get at up behind steering web.
