ECO Cruise Speed Control System
Our Land Yacht has the Ecnoncruise Cruise controller on the diesel pusher.
They were in Ann Arbor, Mich., but I think they're out of business now.
Ours quit on the last trip, but appears to be intact. The linkage still moves when I step on the gas, so it appears to be an electrical problem.
Does anyone have a wiring schematic or experience with this unit?

This is about as far away from anything I've ever had experience with, but is this the same "Econocruise" that makes speed limiters for school buses? I just found some references to that doing a Google search.

Econocruise
Could be the same company. I had an address and phone in Ann Arbor, MI
that is no longer in service. Called a company by that name that I Googled, but they make a GPS navigational devices. The said they've had 100 calls for the EnconoCruise Speed Controller, but it's not them.

One of the great Airstream mysteries strikes again.
I cleaned up a bunch of electrical connectons under
the bonet and the Cruise Control worked for our north-
bound leg of a 1300 mile trip.
After camping in the rain for a few days we started south
and the ECO Cruise control was on vacation again!
Must be a haunted Airstream.

We had an issue with the engine air conditioner tripping off and then on again every time I went over a bump in the road. It turned out that the lug that was crimped on the wiring to the panel under the hood (left side) of our diesel pusher was loose. On closer inspection, it seemed that over time several of these lugs were getting loose. My mechanic went through all of them, and redid several of them. For those who may not know it, when you crimp a lug onto the wire, there is a right way and a wrong way. The crimper has a small tongue (for want of a better word) that pushes the lug against the wire - you must not position the lug's seam at that tongue, or the crimp will fail.
