Driving light pics?

Anybody installed driving lights on a 90's LY30-34?

Not many posts on this, and none with pics.

Out here in the wild west... I like having 3 levels of light. Low beam, high beam, and far beam...

It looks like they could go next to the turn/parking lights on our 96, but they would be low, and have to be aimed "up". Would be much better to install higher and aim down.

This is (similar to) ours, with the low lights:

And I was thinking of an HID pair of lights in this location: pic is from a 2003.

Not to hijack my own post..., but the louvers in the late model have at least twice the area for air to enter the radiator. In the 96, the low grilles are then maybe 50% blocked by the batteries... Wonder if the 2003's run cooler?

I have now composed this post 2X. Why is the site buggering posts up and spitting me off the with additional security? I'm a premium member, my ISP has not changed, I do not delete cookies, I am on the same computer, I am logged in. ???

Do you have a remote controlled spot light on top like my 1998 LY 30 ? I solved the not enough light problem when out on a dark road with no one around for miles.

On my 97 AS diesel, halogen driving and docking lights were standard equipment.

The driving lights are mounted next to the blinkers. My headlights are mounted higher than yours but the grill looks similar. If you need more photos close up, will be glad to email them to you. Hard to post picts here.

On my 1993 I replaced the headlight bulbs and fog lights with LED's and it helped quite a bit. But I agree with you the headlight on these models aren't very good.

Driving Lights

LED made a huge difference in mine. Also recently replaced the marker lights with new fixtures that do not leak
