I have a 1998 31' land yacht and have yet to find the drain plug for the fresh water tank,
have to drain the system through the sink/gray water tank.
Someone please enlighten me.
Thanks

If you have a Queen bed on my 33' LY pull out the right side drawer there is a valve that's will drain the fresh water tank out the bottom of motor home, its very slow. Its faster to use the outside faucet by the dump valves, open it and use your water pump, its a lot faster

Rats, no luck. I discovered all the water lines coming in but no valve.
As far as the outside faucet, nothing happens when I open it.
Is there possibly another valve leading to it that's shut off?
Oh btw, thanks.

Sorry, on mine with the valve open and the water pump on it will pump out the water tank, no other valve has to be open, but mine MH is older 1993 and a 33 maybe the
plumbing was changed on the newer or different models.

Thanks for the help.
I found the drain valves hidden at the foot of the bed,
My search will continue re: outsides spicket.

I have owned 2 AS and both had the drain between the 2 axels (wheels) on the left side of the trailer. (I have seen it on the right side on one model.) Look for a white LITTLE plastic lever. Turn it from facing left, to facing right. It may take a couple hours to drain if your tank is full. Close it when finished.

Fresh Water Drain 76 Overlander
Hi,
I am new to the forum and have recently purchased a 76 Overlander. I have tackled many of the items, but cannot for the life of me locate the fresh water drain. My layout is single sink curbside with the overn/stove as a built in unit (not the wall oven version). I have checked for a valve under the sink, but there is very little room if any to look, also looked outside as people have mentioned. I don't see any tubes coming through the belly pans.
Does anyone have a similar year and type?
Thx
Kristien

Although my Land Yacht is an '04, there are usually similarities. Here are two photos of the plumbing at the foot of the queen bed; one shows the relationship to the fresh-water tank and the other is a labeled close-up shot. I hope they are helpful.
BTW, there is no external plug in order to drain the fresh-water tank; just open the drains under the bed. The gray-water tank is not involved. The external spigot you mentioned could be the out-side water faucet.
Best regards and safe travel,
Randy

R.I.P. FZ - My above comments were for AS trailers. I didn't realize that you were talking about a motorhome. Sorry.

On mine with the center queen bed access the 3 valves at foot of bed hatch to the right, similar to foto by VT Wanderer. The fresh water tank is under the bed.
