I have a 1997 P30 chassis and it has auto park. What a nightmare if it goes out. I had the main component removed and repaired and it is running fine again. You need to be sure that when you put the RV in gear, you wait for the auto park light to turn off before moving the vehicle. You may also want to have a spare "green" switch handy. That is usually the fist piece that goes out and the easiest to replace.

Our '97 originally likely had the auto park, somewhere down the line a PO dismantled it. When it was in for brake work (rear calliper seized) when the mechanic fixed the brake then it wouldn't hold at all in park with parking brake on if there was the slightest incline. The mechanic then fixed the drum on the driveshaft so that it was tight enough to hold. Works perfectly. Stop, put in park, engage parking brake and we're not moving.

So i assume my 1990 land yacht 36 doesnt have auto brake. Makes me think my left front locking up as i come to a complete stop is more.likely a wheel cylinder sticking or a master clyinder sticking. Count to ten and it releases and you roll fine until you have to stop again
