Did you buy the Classic 310 in Texas from the AS classified ads? Looks like the same picture.

"Give that man a cigar!"

Gloran,

Yes it is.
Luckily, I contacted the seller and he shared in great detail all he has done with the coach since his purchase.
He has sent numerous photos and is still finding and fixing small items in preparation for our arrival 29APR13.

Yesterday, he replaced the engine water pump, repaired a broken A/C bracket and is now looking at the hydraulic levelers:

I am blessed the seller has this level of commitment and integrity.

To date, this is the best experience purchasing a used vehicle we've had!

What a guy!

Today seller informed me he replaced the fuel pump on the Kohler Generator.

I am truly humbled by his integrity.

I haven't driven Katy since my unfortunate accident last September. The spring weather has been great so I prepped the old girl, loaded up my mom, grandchildren and DW.

We drove north about 35 miles and enjoyed the Sunday drive. Katy performed well and the drive was pleasant.

This short excursion only "wet my whistle" and I'm looking forward to next weeks trip to Texas to pickup Kimee and take a side trip to Galveston

I'm going to miss driving Katy....

DW noticed the closet ceiling panel was drooping.

Touched the ceiling and it was damp. I was going to climb up on the roof and inspect after work but the wife drafted +1 son for the job. So, while I'm working, they inspect the skylight and find it is cracked. A couple of hours scraping eternabond tape, sealant, etc...remove cracked skylight and replace with new unit. Son applies butyl tape and seals.

After work, I clamber up on to the roof and complete the job with new eternabond tape and Dicor Lap Sealant around all the edges. While I am already on the roof, inspect the vents, clean and reseal with Dicor.

Setup fan to blow air into closet and dry out closet ceiling.

One more item completed in preparation for the rally in Louisiana next week.

DW and I were invited to Cruising Cajun Rally in Monroe, LA. Originally planned to take our 310. (Kimee). We're grateful we had a spare (Katy). Trip from Memphis took about 6 hours on State Hwy 61.

The rally was a blast and our dearest friends have sponsored us to join. About 125 motorhomes attended the first ever rally in Monroe. For four days we ate, drank and danced... to quote my beloved granddaughter we had the "best time ever" (:-)!

Of course, no trip to Monroe would be complete without a visit to the Duck Dynasty store:

On the trip home, we decided to visit Natchez, MS. Stayed at the River View RV Park. We would definitely stay again.

Park is right on the river. Wonderful view of Natchez...

While touring the park at 0600 this morning, we stumbled across the one and only "floating Airstream"

Kidding of course!

But we did find a 345:

It has an unique air conditioner for the rear bedroom:

Swan Song

Pleased that Katy performed so well on our last trip!
DW and I gifted our beloved coach to son and family. They left last night for a 10 day trip to Florida.

I will be picking up our new (to us) Classic in about two weeks.

Can't wait to see your future posts on upgrades to your 310. Next time you get the urge for "Cajun" come all the way down to Lafayette and visit with us with the Acadiana Unit. We eat good and have a good time.

Jrkeef,

We purchased Katy in Lafayette, LA from a University Professor. And have good friends in Lockport!

It's a small world after all!

Ryjamsan,

Yes, we bought Kimee. Had her for about two weeks and on our first trip (Mothers Day) we had an electrical fire. Insurance "totaled" Kimee.

Found "Penny" a week later. We are picking her up next weekend!
