Converter replacement

Hello again gang!
I said I'd post when I got the converter replaced, so here goes. I found it behind the panel in front of the passenger seat.
The old one (a Powersource by Todd Engineering) bench-tested nada/zilch/zip so I ordered a 60A Boondocker from 'Best Converters' in Idaho which arrived within 3 business days.
I attached the + and - wires and the ground before re-attaching it to the wall because the terminals would've been inaccessible once it was fastened in place. Also coated the wires with anti-corrode paste. Once it was mounted, plugged it in and voila! the cooling fan came on and the e-meter showed 13.6 V output. So, all went well, thanks to the advice I got here.

Thanks folks, this is a great forum!

New converter

It's been awhile since I posted on the board, but I do want to tell the members my experience with replacing my power converter (again).
We were almost home and staying overnight in a park when the next morning the coach engine labored before firing up. Strange thought I, we've been plugged in to shore power all night. anyway, got home, plugged in the battery charger and the batteries came up overnight. Must be the converter. Took it out, bench tested and sure enough no output.

Next day I called the retailer who gave me the number of the rep with Powermax, Errin. Well, a big tip o' the hat to Errin and the folks at Powermax. Without so much as verifying my claim he told me "We 'll get a new one shipped today if you email me your address". I did, he shipped and today I have a new converter installed.

Just want to let the members know how refreshing it was to deal with Powermax and Errin. good people in my opinion and good service deserves recognition.
