Talking Check list

Hello y'all, it's me again.
Just wondering, does anyone use checklists to secure that everything is ready to roll? We're leaving on Thursday for our first road trip, to central Oregon to attend the graduation of a granddaughter. The ol' girl seems eager to take us there, but being new to RVing I'm putting together a pre-drive check list. (because if I don't follow a list I'll probably make a stoopid senior mistake)
So far I've got this:
Disconnect shore power
Turn off water heater (not sure a gas water htr would fair well at road speed)
Close all windows
Check levelers
Check all outdoor stuff is stowed
Check basement doors
Check awnings are rolled in
Battery isolator switch is closed
Antenna down
Check engine oil and coolant and other under-hood things

Feel free to expand on this or share your own list. I'm sure I missed something.

Disconnect water and sewer hoses. Seats in the forward and locked position. Titanium Master card with double points for fuel purchases. Jack and lug wrench. Prozac for the co-pilot...

Hello Dave,
Don't forget to close the roof vents and make sure you not only have a spare tire, but the proper size lug wrench to change a tire. Just a couple things I've learned the hard way. Have a great trip!

One of those things you want to add right before the end of your list:

"CHOCKS?"

Watch the movie "RV". Whatever they do in the movie, don't do.

Here's mine. I guess you won't need some of the trailer-specific things, and the reason I secure the bathroom door in the open position is that in my vintage trailer you can see all the way through in the center rear-view mirror.

Departure Checklist
Secure interior lockers
Retract stabilizers
Dump tanks
Switch off water pump
Disconnect/stow water supply
Disconnect/stow sewer system
Stow loose items
Secure bathroom door OPEN
Open front center curtain and rear blind
Close/latch all windows and vents
Switch off lights
Set refrigerator for travel and lock shut
Disconnect/stow shore power
Remove/stow chocks
Stow leveling blocks
Retract & secure step
Furl and stow
Secure main door
Set propane for travel
Check hitch
Check WD bars
Check sway control
Check safety chains
Check umbilical
Retract jack
Check tire pressures
Pull out of site, check brakes
Check site for forgotten items.

I found an app for my iPhone that I use called RV Check. Comes with some standard checklists but I made my own. Gives me something to glance over to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Wow, thanks for the lists posted. I'm going to copy & sort the items, then make a table with columns so I can check the things I changed when I docked to make sure I hit those items when I move.

The "small" items that I missed in the past: rechecking every door/drawer for latching. I had to upgrade an under-bed drawer and my large drawer under the fridge, put surface bolts on to keep them shut.

I have heard stories of the mess created when the fridge is not latched. Just imagine all the condiments and liquids tumble out as you take a turn...

And, from an A/S trailer owner: they were coming up to the Spring Casini rally last year. She likes to close all the sink drains, but this time they accidentally left the water pump on. The kitchen faucet vibrated open so the system pumped all the water in to the sink, which then overflowed and there was lots of wet everywhere. This is less likely to happen in a moho since you would probably hear it, but now I make sure all drains are open and both pump switches are off.
