Hello y'all, it's me again.
Just wondering, does anyone use checklists to secure that everything is ready to roll? We're leaving on Thursday for our first road trip, to central Oregon to attend the graduation of a granddaughter. The ol' girl seems eager to take us there, but being new to RVing I'm putting together a pre-drive check list. (because if I don't follow a list I'll probably make a stoopid senior mistake)
So far I've got this:
Disconnect shore power
Turn off water heater (not sure a gas water htr would fair well at road speed)
Close all windows
Check levelers
Check all outdoor stuff is stowed
Check basement doors
Check awnings are rolled in
Battery isolator switch is closed
Antenna down
Check engine oil and coolant and other under-hood things
Feel free to expand on this or share your own list. I'm sure I missed something.
