'94 LY compressor

Right at the front, driver side, when I pop the hood, there's a compressor, at least I think that`s what it is. What does it do?

If you have a air ride suspension that compressor inflates the system for leveling with your rear air bags. Also, if you have air horn it would supplies air for that tank.

Mine must be for the air horns. There's no tank, and the rear suspension is air bag-less.

No it doesn't.

If you don't have any air bags, then it's probably only for the air horns.
