'93 Legacy, dead bolt

We are new. Just purchased a 93 legacy 34ft. Previous owner told us he had trouble with the dead bold and rec. we not use it. Anybody with experience here?

Welcome to the forums! Sorry, I don't have any knowledge about your deadbolt issue, but I'm sure there's someone out there who does. You might try the search feature at the top of the screen, and perhaps someone will chime in with some advice. Good luck!

I have a 93 Excello 1000 29 ft and have had no problems with the deadbolt. I use it as the primary lock. I have not heard of problems with the lock.
