Aage, thanks for the encouragement. By the way, booth and table are listed in the classified's as FREE TO A GOOD HOME. Take a look. They reside in Michigan.
Dowpells, I purchased the table from Airstream (Ouch!). It came with the extension and you're right. It comes in handy. The corian material is a very commonly used color. Mine is called "midnight", I believe. The reason I know this is because I made and installed a fold down extension table that fits on the side of the vanity in the bathroom. (Bathroom counter and table are same color.)
I went to a local kitchen and bath dealer nearby with the extension and they were able to match the color identically with stock material. Even had the same thickness, etc. I'm sure AS could supply the extension for you, and most likely it would match perfectly as far as the edging and all that are concerned. Might cost a little dough, though.

Wow, so nice to see other 30' SO owners! We bought our used 2005 from a local Craigslist ad, and the owner was a great guy. He and his wife came by our first shakedown camp-out to help us setup and enjoy a bottle of Domaine Chandon. He had done some upgrades: added the supersteer and another front suspension add-on, and actually took it to Banks in SoCal so now I have more power, gas economy, etc. and more.
I'll post some photos of my changes: we like the booth setup for the extra storage, and I did a tv upgrade with some better sound: nothing fancy, mostly using some leftovers from the house. I also added a "built-in" vacuum: as a first time rv'er, I got stressed out over how much outside stuff got tracked in, and will post it soon.
We also joined the NorCal rallies, and they are pretty tolerant of us not having a shiny aluminum exterior.
If anyone has any suspension/tracking suggestions I would love to hear about it: I still have a little bit of an issue with some lane wandering.
Anybody using a toad?

Hi Folks,
Thanks for keeping the thread going.
Dowpells, how's it going with the table extension? Next time I visit our baby, I will try to remember the camera and take a photo of the folding table I put into the bathroom.
Another thing we did was to have aluminum backsplash installed behind the sink and toilet in the bathroom. Will photograph that also.
TerraYacht, Thanks for checking in. Beautiful photos! As far as suspension is concerned, we have no add-ons. If you are having problems with the front end wandering, then you might need a front end alignment. We had that done right away when the MH came to us and it made a big diff.
That's all for now. Will try to post more photos later.

Hi fellow LYG people. We're back home after 7 weeks of travel & living in the MoHo. 2 people (& 1 small dog) can live in the small area! It was cozy & comfortable. Being some where warm helped as we could be outside alot. The best part, I could clean the whole place in about 30 minutes!
Bob, we haven't done anything more about the table extension. Way back when I first started looking, I contacted AS & was told I had to purchase the whole table to get the extension...my $4.00 board works just fine until I find just the extension. But , I love your idea in the bath area for the fold down extension on the side of the vanity. Can you post a pic?
TerraYacht you are our twin...same color & same issues with the "lane wandering". First we had the air bags replaced . That smoothed the ride out. Then (at our mechanic's suggestion) some steering wheel post change. I'm not sure what it's called (I'll ask John) but the ride & handling was great! And, yes, we use a toad. A Honda CRV.
I'm going to try to add a picture or 2 of a neat state park in AL. Ricwood Caverns S.P. Not busy in early March...awesome caves/caverns to tour. And close to I65...right on the way home for us.
That's all for now,
John & Becky Pellerito

Hello John and Becky and welcome back. Sounds like you had a great trip and I hope everything went well mechanically and that you had no leaks. (It seems like leaks are the bane of any and all moving domiciles, whether it be a Trailer or MH).
Anyways, happy 1st day of daylight savings time! It was light outside till almost 8 pm tonight.
The next time we visit our MH, I will try to get some photos of our interior improvements. Until then, have fun planning your next trip.
And thanks for the photos, they are really nice.

Seeing an almost-duplicate of our moho inspired me to actually shoot the photos and resize them so I could post them.
I added a 26" HD tv, a swing out tilting arm on the existing mounting plate with several mod's, and a little sound enhancement with a dvd player for late night movies.
The shelf on the vanity is a wooden tray from Sur La Table, it was just the right size to clear the toilet seat, and locking supports from the local Woodworker's Supply store, and a "built-in" vacuum for clean-ups.
We have not been to Mt. Rushmore yet and are anxious to see the "other side" of the presentation.

Hello TerraYacht! Thanks for checking in. The TV looks great, as does the side shelf in the bathroom. We also put a shelf onto the side of our vanity. Used corian instead. Will post photos soon. By the way, that's a very interesting view of Mt Rushmore, one I have yet to see.

Terra Yacht that's too funny! (Mt Rushmore picture) Love the flip-up shelf idea. We'll be copying that.
Bob, we were fortunate to be free of mechanical problems. We did have a leak during a 3 day, side ways, blowing rain storm. We had water come in (we think) from the vent over the refrig. area. Never before or since have we had a leak, so we think it was the driving, side ways blowing nature of that storm. Several of the guys tryed to find where it was leaking & that's the best guess.

I thought about using Corian that matched the vantiy top but I thought it would be too thick for the toilet seat to clear...and I like to lift the seat!

The other place I had a leak, and when I investigated I found evidence that it was there with the previous owner, was the "front" corner at the bottom of the shower door. It ran under the closet (where my vacuum is located now) and sometimes trickled out into the middle of the floor. A little careful caulk/sealant and it is now tight again.

No, but if you call Airstream in Jackson Center, someone there might be able to help you out.

Hey Michigander, I like the new name. Maybe your picture should also change to look something like this. Aren't you glad that's about over?

Thanks for noticing. I couldn't believe nobody else had it. Nice picture, makes the winter look better than it is. How many more 23 degree mornings can we take?

Tomorrow is April 1...I can't take ANY more 20 something mornings. Since getting back to MI (mid March) we've run the moho furnace almost every night to protect the now unwinterized plumbing (lowest setting/50 degrees). This might be over the top, but these forums have us worried about freezing water heaters, exploding pipes, etc.
Pappy19, a 30 ft Classic with slide is the vehicle that got us looking @ Air Streams. Love the floor plan. I'm guessing it's very similar to ours.

That's right, you were some place warm recently in the MH!! I definitely think you're doing the right thing running the furnace.
It would be a major hassle and expense to fix previously frozen, busted plumbing. Not to mention being out of commission for a potentially long time.
As far as Pappy 19's 30' w/ slide goes, I'm sure there are many similarities to our MH's. Thanks for the photos, Pappy.

As we travel we get the most comments on the AS with a slide. Most don't know that AS even made a slide. We have to really watch being too casual in keeping our "stuff" from looking sloppy cause we get visitors always wanting to see inside our AS. I expect your AS coach gets the same treatment.

our next change
Has anyone replaced the bedroom tv with an HD/flat screen model?
We want to do this & have taken the project as far as removal of the old tv & checking out what is behind it in that crazy padded box. Our first thought was take the box completly down & use a bracket made for the purpose of holding a tv. Our 2nd thought, what is behind the wall that the bracket can be attached to? That box is really firmly in place. (about 2 dozen screws) What we are wondering is, could the new tv be attached to the face of the box? We wouldn't mind removing the front & leaving the bottom as a shelf. But, we're not sure the bottom of the box is supported by anything more than the sides of the box. Has anyone tackled this project? Any thoughts?
And because I can...here is a picture of the original box. A 24" would fit across the flat front.
