Just a few of us!

Hi y'all I'm one of the 60 or so who has the 05' Land Yacht so/sl! we love it and are spending 2 weeks on Cape Cod with it this summer. I agree with one of the other posters it would be nice to see another out there!

@Jody10: I think we have the same color exterior that you have, except for a few small scars.

Even when we can't get out somewhere, I can step into the moho (since it is next to the house) and just kick back for a few hours.

No Longer one of the 60.

As some say…"we went to the dark side". We recently traded our LY for a 36' SOB, DP. We tried to find an Airstream DP, but the only ones available were too old for our skill level. But, I imagine we'll hang around this forum for the wealth of information to be harvested.
BTW, we stayed at the same park as Woody Two this winter & his cabinets are awesome.

Thank you for all your help and advice. We very much appreciated your knowledge and experience when we were looking to buy "one of the last 60". we love what we have and hopefully it will see us thru a lot more years.

Thank you also for your gracious comments on our cabinet additions.

And we are certainly looking forward to seeing you next year.

Glad to see that this thread is still alive! We still own our LYG 30 SL and store it at our cottage near the Straits of Mackinac. We plan to take it over the bridge to the UP some time this summer.

How about some more information on what you got?? It will not be a conflict here as Airstream have given up on this market!

Dave, we traded for a 2007 Newmar Ventana 36' DP. We think it's just the right size for us & the way we have been using our motor home as a winter home. Similar "fit & finish" to the Airstream DP. (IMO)
