1993 Legacy - window seals?

How do I know what I need to get for window seals? Seems ours are dry rotted and leaking..

I think fixing the window seals is more difficult than it looks. A PO put what looks like a silicon sealant at points on the windows where the seal shrank. It does not seem to do anything, so I would not recommend it. We had leaking windows until I used a can of compressed air to clear out the weep holes at the bottom of the frames. I just stuck the tube that comes with the air into the weep hole and pressed the button. It does not much to plug up these drains. We have not had a leak since then -- knock on wood.

Another thought for you is to go to the Airstream site and see if you can find a parts manual for your model. It might show the profile for the seal if you actually need to replace them.

I have found that. I can't seem to locate a suppler other than Airstream. I was able to get the windows sealed up.

Care to share the fix? I have a '93 Legacy with shrinking seals as well.

I was able to use silicone and as it set up shape it to match the current seals. In doing so got windows to seal.
