You helped me buy it & i'm happy

Well, ten days ago I was asking for help to identify rust/corrosion & other issues before I went to look at a MH on the Gulf Coast. We spent 8 hrs crawling under, over & around & made a great deal on our new 1982 '310'
Airstream Motorhome!!
Had an absolutley trouble free 700 mile trip home from Louisianna to Tennessee.
I haven't found anything that doesn't work except the Nutone center & I can probably live with that. Although we'll see.
Been cleaning & cleaning & now it's to work. Have a 4'X4' floor issue behind the passenger seat & must rebuild both forward side windows. Have the necessary gaskets & fuzzy track on the way from Inland.

So glad to be hooked up to this site--the forums are indispensible & everyone is great with us newbies.

Although we don't intend to full time it, we lived aboard our 40' trawler & cruised the rivers & coasts for 10 years until we resettled here in Tenn two years ago. Now we're looking forward to many extended weekends in the mountains with maybe one big trip to the NorthWest.

I know you love the pictures & I have just this one parked in the driveway if I can figure out how to upload it. Thanks for being there----

Congrats on the MoHo and the trouble free trip home.

Enjoy yourselves.

Welcome to the Airstream Family.

Hope we can find a time next weekend and get a ride down to see y'all. Looking forward to the Vintage Rally at Misty River.

There is a lot of help and great people here on the AIR Forum. You will wear out that search feature!

Welcome aboard! We are having a rally at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in October. Ya'll should come! The "Not Really a Band" Band will play, we'll have a tour of Airstreams and potluck dinner too. It is always fun to see how folks have decorated and to see what projects are going on.

Glad you had a good first trip. Our maiden voyage was Indy to Fort Myers Beach. I'm sure you will find that it's the only way to travel!
