Windshield glass source

I am in need of either glass repair or a source for new or used glass for the driver's side windshield of our 1991 350 LE. It appears that the glass was vandalized sometime while the vehicle was in storage.

The glass has three 6-8 inch long cracks making up something that looks like the letter Z, dead center. I am not aware that any of the available glass repair epoxies can successfully repair these cracks, but I have little experience with such work. I am recommissioning the vehicle, which has been in storage for about 3 years, in preparation for moving its registration to another state, and I doubt that it can pass the new state's safety inspection with a cracked windshield.

Best to all,
Rob

Airstream Supply has windshields on their website, http://airstreamsupply.com/Airstream...dshield-106828

We needed a windshield when we bought our 310 several years ago. Called an "800" number that I found on the web for mobile glass replacement, they came out and did the install in my in-laws driveway for just under $1k. Not a particularly clean installation, but it's still in place and does not leak.

Jonathan,
I just sent you a message regarding your driver's sliding glass. I'd really like to buy it.

Thanks,
Tap
